Elle Weston - Week 1

Elle looking so tiny in her car seat right after getting home from the hospital

Elle's first time sleeping in her pack-n-play bassinet. My Mom made three adorable sheets for her bed.

Love her little fuzzy arms

My Mom, Grandma Candy McKinnon, came to visit when Elle was four days old. She stayed to help us out and teach us for 4 days, we loved it!

My Mom taught us how to bathe a newborn baby and boy did we need it! Truman and mine's first attempt was a royal failure! We barely even touched her and kept panicking when we made her cry.

Passed out on Grandma after her bath

My Dad came up that weekend to see Elle too. My Mom was such an amazing help to us. She cooked, cleaned, grocery shopped, did laundry, and was a huge emotional support in learning how to take care of our little Elle.

Her softy minky blanket

Just four days old and oh so sweet

Whoa, double chinner!

My Mom made these super cute pink minky car seat strap covers

Getting lessons on the proper way to do a newborn bath from my Mom

Truman was so caring when washing her hair under the sink faucet. He had to bend down in this awkward and cute way to reach it, he is such a good Daddy.

Truman is literally wrapped around this little girl's fingers...

Elle had a great and healthy one week doctor check-up. When we left the hospital she weighed 7.4 pounds and at her appointment she was back up to birth weight! Here are her statistics from her pediatrician.

Age: 1 week
Height: 20.5 inches  - 90th percentile
Weight: 7 lbs 9 oz  - 50th percentile
Head circumference: 35cm  - 50th percentile
