Spring Hydrangea Wreath

I was feeling crafty this Spring sunny day and I came across this hydrangea wreath on a friend's blog and fell in love! So I headed over to Michael's with and we bought all the supplies and luckily all faux flowers were 40% off, yes! We used a 12" wreath form, 4 pale green hydrangeas, 4 coral hydranges, a drill to make the holes bigger, stem cutters to cut through the wired flower stems, and hot glue gun to attach. My friend Ashley from Simply Designing had this fabulous video tutorial for the hydrangea wreath which was super easy if you want to make your own.
I am loving how it springy and fresh it looks on my new Caribbean blue door!

Baby Watermelon! Green OR Pink - What Do You Think? IT'S A....

We thought it would be fun to do a Watermelon themed Gender Reveal Party for this upcoming Baby #2!

I made these lime green and hot pink circle garlands with a 2" circle punch and then ran them through the sewing machine with about an inch between circles. I made the Watermelons with the same cardstock by just cutting out watermelon and rhine and then used black hole punched paper for the seeds and then glued them all together.

I also hot glued pins on the back of these circles on the chalkboard --everyone had to vote and wear it!
Green or Pink - What Do You Think?!

Ultrasound pictures from my appointment yesterday (minus the gender pictures which were sealed in an envelope the day of!)

This little munchkin kept following me around as I was taking pictures of the decorations saying, "Cheeeeese!". I would take a picture of her, then she would say "Cake please!". Haha, I guess she got used to me bribing her with cake yesterday to do our photoshoot. And yes... I gave her some more cake...
How could you deny that face?!

The party table complete with lemon-lime and cherry 7 Up and all manner of pink and green decorations!

Garlands framing the entrance to the kitchen -- Elle loved to run through them and say, "I'm so pretty!!!"

Front door streamers and balloons and the cute photo bomber

My sister Tara & me and her little twin boys in the background.
I am 19.5 weeks pregnant!

This is the best picture I could get of Elle at the party, haha --she voted pink!

Jake, Spencer/Dad, Rich "Papa", my Dad, and my Mom

Truman, Amy, Tara, Aven, Quin, Pete, Peggy, Hayley
-VOTED GREEN-

...And for the rest of our family who sent me their votes that live too far away to come or were away!

The mystery gender reveal cake!!!

Funfetti cake with white frosting...

...filled with either green or pink m&m's!

Now the moment we were ALL waiting for!!!

We made two cuts but couldn't see anything until we picked up the big piece of cake and moved it out!

Truman & I both voted green & were right!
I love how you can see Tara in the mirror in this picture too excited because she voted right as well!

 GREEN!!!

IT'S A BOY!!!

People are always telling me how much Elle & I look alike! I can't wait to see if this baby boy looks like my cute husband Truman! Look at this little boy!

We are so excited and knowing we are having a baby boy makes it feel all the more real!!!
Now onto picking a name for sure...

We are pregnant! Pre- "Gender Reveal Party"

We're are thrilled to announce we are expecting Weston Baby #2!

Due July 30th!!!

Watermelon Baby on the way! Green or Pink - What Do You Think?!

We find out tomorrow at our Baby Gender Reveal Party! Elle helped me make the cake and my sister Rachel will secretly fill it with one of these m&m's! Truman & I are both voting boy and it seems most of our families are voting boy as well!

My OB is today and I will have the technician put the gender of our baby in an envelope. It will take all my will power to not open it! Since Truman is in the depths of tax season and I wanted to find a way to get Elle more excited - I thought a Gender Reveal Party would be perfect! That way we can all find out at once!

I had to bribe Elle with about 5 Skittles and some party cake to get these photos!
Love my little girl!

This little Spring Princess is officially 2.5-years old! We love the sunshine she brings into our life!

Here are some fun facts about our girl...

She just became potty-tained as of yesterday!

Her favorite color is PINK! - no wonder she says she wants a girl baby, right?!

She LOVES Tumble Time!

We just started Joy School last month and she is soaking up every bit!

She's got some crazy jumps on the trampoline, she loves to be chased by her Daddy, and is my little shopper. She wants to help me with EVERYTHING --which can be good and bad :).

She loves to dress up like a Princess and we'll announce her saying "Princess Elle..." and she'll chime in "...of Cameron Park!" haha  --please never stop doing that...

She loves to wear my heels and is obsessed with the Disney Princesses especially Ariel and Sleeping Beauty and newly loves Enchanted (one of my fav's!)

She has beautiful sandy blonde hair with natural bouncy curls at the bottom. She is still so petite and everyone always comments on it, but it's just part of Elle!

We are so lucky to have this girl! Happy two and half birthday Elle!
You're going to make a great big sister! :)
