Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween! Hold onto your hats!

This year for Halloween Elle wanted to dress up as Tinkerbell & I dressed up as Peter Pan to coordinate with her.

Magnolia dressed as a cute little ladybug complete with wings, antennae, and red tutu.

As we shopped in Costco, Trooper ran to the Halloween costumes and immediately grabbed an aviator costume. He yelled, “Mom! Look! It’s a Hogarth costume! I want to be Hogarth for Halloween!” I thought it was so clever how he made that connection to his favorite movie The Iron Giant. So Trooper is dressed as Hogarth, the little boy who finds and befriends the iron giant robot.

(I’m 14 weeks pregnant with Baby Weston #4)

We did our annual Trick-or-Treat rounds at the Town Center businesses. We love to walk up and down the strip of shops with the hub bub and shuffle of Halloween festivities. It’s fun to brush shoulders with all the children and many adults in costumes —especially during the light of day while it’s still warm and light out.

We even ran into a very life like Buzz Lightyear and his daughter Jesse. The kids begged to snap a pic with him.

I love dressing the kids up in Halloween themed clothes! The love going to the Play Center at my gym and Elle works on homeschool.

We also managed a Costco Halloween run this morning after piano lessons for Elle.

Halloween jammies are a must in our house! Daddy reading the kids a pumpkin book before bedtime on Elle’s bed.

We carved pumpkins with the kids tonight while we watched Double Double Toil & Trouble after Trick-or-Treating. We also visited with Grams & Gramps, as well as Peggy & Papa.

Amy’s 32nd Birthday!

*Cue Katy Perry’s “Birthday” song* πŸ₯³πŸ’πŸΌ‍♀️πŸ’ƒπŸΌ

I’ve danced & made my family dance to that celebratory song multiple times today because ...you guessed it —it’s my Birthday! πŸ˜‰

My annual bday tubing down the river didn’t work out with the unusually cool California weather in August ⛅️πŸ’¨ . So, I went to the gym instead and ran into a bunch of awesome friends, got some great endorphins from my workout, went to Target (land of dreams ✨), lots of sweet birthday wishes from family and friends, shopping at Anthropologie (thank you bday discount πŸ™ŒπŸ»), my parents came to babysit while we went to Marley & Moo for dinner, Nothing Bundt Cake for dessert, & then we went to the Hobbs & Shaw movie.

In the movie theater pic I’m holding up 3 & 2 fingers for 32. The photo after is from my 22nd birthday at Cafe Rio in Utah doing the same thing with 2 & 2 (except I apparently use to be more gangsta’ ✌🏻✌🏻🀷🏼‍♀️πŸ˜†). Crazy to think it’s been 10 years between photographs! Oh how life has changed and I have changed and grown!!! I can say I feel like I’m coming into my own in my 30s.

Grateful for Truman and the fanfare he so sweetly did for me after my requesting of fanfare on my birthday πŸ˜†. 🎺 Ask & ye shall receive: Truman’s fanfare included letting me sleep in ‘til 9am, waking up to sunflowers, balloons, cards, birthday banner, & candles, plus cleaning the house while I was at the gym, cueing up & dancing with me to the ”Birthday” song twice πŸ’ƒπŸΌπŸ•Ί, & eating birthday treats with me on our date! 😜 #32 #birthdaygirl #treatyoself

Plus here are a couple birthday memes that people sent me that made me chuckle πŸ˜†:
