Baby Shower in Cameron Park

My sisters Shelly & Rachel and Rachel's husband Dave threw me an AWESOME baby shower in my hometown. They completely surprised me with the theme and all the details. They came up with this French themed shower to play off our upcoming baby girl's name.... Elle

Mom To Be

Rachel, Dave, and Shelly went crazy with planning and decorations for my shower and it shows! You can definitely see all the effort and attention to detail they put into it, I am so grateful.

Rachel made this sweet 'Welcome' sign

Shelly made these super cute 'Bonjour Baby Elle' signs

My mother-in-law Becky let us use her perfect covered patio area for the shower

Tons of balloons!

Eiffel Tower

Love the poodles

A real man can decorate! Dave did sooo much for the shower!

Miss Aurora was a trooper while her parents worked away

Darling cupcake tower

Rachel made these cupcakes and charming cupcake toppers

Each one was so adorable!

They even coordinated all the plasticware, napkins, and plates!

Loved the teacups

Cool Eiffel Towers & cute pom pom bouquet Rachel made

The food was yummy!

Debbie & Mom

Auntie Berta & Brittany

We played a cute game called 'Xerox Baby' where they had to pick from lips, nose, ears, eyes, etc. from a large selection of Truman & mine's faces and paste them to our baby girl's face. They got to make one good one and one silly one.

Aurora was even getting into it too, she was one of the winners

Mom, Crystal, Brittany, & Gail

This was a silly one...we hope...she has four ears and three eyes...

Auntie Berta and Jeni

Prego Sisters

Becky & Gail

Becky, Debbie, & Mom

We played a cute game where everyone had to draw a picture of a baby on a paper plate with it on top of their head. As you can imagine they were very artistic... I got to show everyone all the drawings and pick my favorites.

Aunt Cathy, Cousin Summer, & Mom

So many great gifts!!!

Truman snuck in at the end, he only wanted to hold baby Emily. He is so baby hungry and Emily is irresistibly cute.

Mmmm...chocolate fountain! They had marshmallows, pineapple, strawberries, and graham crackers to dip

~Prizes~
Don't you love how they made all the colors match? Inside the boxes were pink wrapped raspberry Ghirardelli chocolates

'Thank You' party favors

They also had the cute idea of this 'Mom To Be' sash that I got to wear. They had my Mom make it and the pink duck safety pin on it was one my Mom had saved from my cloth diaper days.

My awesome baby shower throwing team!
They are amazing! Thank you for all your many HOURS of work to plan, prepare, and throw this awesome shower!

Did I mention they were really cool and buff?

It was a wonderful baby shower, just what I would have wanted, and so many perfect memories for Elle & I to enjoy in the years to come...

Of course, it had to end up being the hottest day of the summer.......shade is a good thing...ha! The pictures are really fun too....lots of smiles and oohs and aahs. You received such cute things for baby Elle!
