Elle Weston - 5 Months
Last month, my little big girl turned 5 months old! Oh what a joy she is to us. I have the best job in the world --getting to stay home taking care of this muffin.
These feet get me all the time. Look how small they are! We call them her "pigmy feet" and joke that they are not growing. Poor Elle. Doomed to have pigmy feet the rest of her life haha. She is currently still in size 1 shoes.

How could I not want to kiss these wet slobbery perfect little lips??

What has Elle been up to???
Elle is a now rolling over from tummy-to-back or back-to-tummy like a pro
She squeals with excitement when she hears you coming to rescue her from the crib and knows right where to look for her hero
She loves people, especially family, and gives them big smiles
Both of her arms, or just her right, will start flapping up and down like crazy when she gets excited, we call it "Flipper"
She LOVES to drop her toys over the side of her Bumbo and see who will pick them up for her
It seems at times she'd rather play with her toys over the side of the Bumbo while having to reach awkwardly to play with them instead of playing with them on top of her play tray, ha!
She sticks EVERYTHING in her mouth, so beware!
She does the cutest giggle when you blow on her neck chub
She would stay in the bath all night if you would let her, the only problem is that she kicks & splashes so much that she loses all the water
She loves to be held and carried around upright in your arm
Her "stork bite" on the side of her nose is getting lighter and smaller, Truman & I are a little sad. We've always thought it was kind of cute.
She is VERY interested in her reflection and reaches her hand out toward it wanting you to bring her to it
When I bring Elle to run my errands, people will always come up to me to comment on her big smile, happy demeanor, cute curl, & beautiful blue eyes
She's my loyal get-the-mail buddy... but watch out, she's got a mean reach! She'll dive bomb to snatch the mail right out of you hand and put it straight into her mouth
She loves going to go visit her Daddy at work and give him wet kisses

Elle - 5 Month Check-up
Elle was a trooper today for her 5 month check-up, shots and all. She was very mellow for Dr. Barrios and enjoyed trying to grab all her tools as she inspected her. Her doctor said that Elle's stats are perfectly average and a great curve. She said she's had a lot of brain growth which is why the head circumference is so much larger than last time, we can attribute that cute coconut head to her Daddy. Elle didn't cry for the first shot and then did for the second, so sad! So happy I could scoop her up afterward and hold her to calm her back down. I love this baby girl.
Age: 5 months
Height: 25.25 inches - 47th percentile
Weight: 15 lbs 5 oz - 49th percentile
Head circumference: 16.75 in - 77th percentile
