Hello from the Weston’s!
We had a wonderful 2014 and looking forward to a bright new year!
Truman has been working hard growing his side of the accounting practice and loves working in good ol’ CP and with his Dad. Truman also was very busy planning and landscaping our front yard, which looks fantastic! He works hard but also plays hard! His major accomplishment is finishing the Tahoe Sierra 100 mile mountain bike race, which he spent months preparing for! The race started in Lake Tahoe and ended in Auburn, CA. He is proud of his medal and we all get a good laugh at the “after race” picture of him, haha. How would you look after a 15 hour bike race???
Amy still loves working a few days a month doing dental hygiene for her office but mostly getting to stay home with Elle. Amy had a blast planning Elle’s “Moo Moo! She’s 2!” cowgirl birthday party! She made a custom cow print and red bandana cake and matching cow cake pops. Amy’s most exciting part of the year was the opportunity to play Ursula the Sea Witch in our church’s El Dorado Stake “Best of Broadway” show. Different Disney Vignettes were performed, and Amy sang “Poor Unfortunate Souls” from The Little Mermaid. She designed and sewed her costume which she enjoyed every second of. Then for Halloween Amy carried the theme over sewing Elle an Ariel costume and Truman a Prince Eric costume!
Elle is now 2 years and 3 months old and growing in height and vocabulary every day! Elle enjoyed getting to be the cutest cowgirl ‘round these parts for her birthday party and loves to put on a show by dancing for everyone. You put on anything with a good beat and she’s out on the floor dancing her heart out, no shame! Why don’t I have that? Elle may be little weighing in at only 24 pounds (only 6th percentile) but she is mighty! Elle loves it when “Dada” takes her on bike rides, she enjoys riding her very own hot pink Strider balance bike, she is a real monkey on a jungle gym, she just started a little mommy & me tumbling class, and is literally running around 110% every moment she’s awake. Elle is most excited to be a big sister this next year!
We are thrilled to be welcoming Baby Weston #2 coming July 30, 2015!!!
