Bath Time Envy

Magnolia just turned 7 weeks old but you can just tell she’d love to join her big brother and sissy for bath time. Look how little she is —she melts my heart. I also love the way her siblings look at her. 

Some of my very favorite things Trooper does with her right now is constantly asks, “Where baby???” if I’m not holding her. 

When he sees her he goes, “Awww” and then he makes a kissy face & uses baby talk saying “Goo’ gul , Goo’ gul, you a Goo’ gul”. Oh be still my heart, I love that he imitates Elle & me doing this. 

Trooper constantly wants to “See baby” & “Hold baby” & “Kiss baby” on her sweet little head. Such tender memories ❤️. 

Adventures of Voltron

Trooper’s love language is hanging out with Daddy on Voltron.  Both of these kids think this motorcycle is so cool and would do anything to ride on it. This is exactly what Truman had in mind when he bought this bike. He knew he could create some amazing childhood memories & when he showed me this picture he proved it. Just perfect. This picture makes my heart sing. Seeing Truman bring this amazing Dad and my kids getting to enjoy him especially when it’s still light outside is just it. This picture says it all —these kids have a Daddy who loves them and does everything in his power during tax season to get home to them with at least a little light left in the day. I hope they always treasure these adventures and know they have each other.

We have been loving Ben and Yulia living across the street from us, it’s so nice to be close to family and have some kids the same age! Elle & Floyd are surprisingly super awesome buddies and she asks to play with him daily. She is so girly and into princesses I didn’t think they would have that much in common, but they play great together!

One of my very best sweet friends from high school came to visit me!  It is so lovely to catch up with old friends like no time has passed!  It has almost been 13 years since I graduated high school, crazy how time flies. I love the person that I have become and the confidence I have as an adult, I sure love being married and having my little family.

Sibling Love

Magnolia - 1 month old

This baby girl has truly brought such a sweet spirit to our home! It’s like we didn’t know we were missing until we had her. She is snuggly and we all say she has special baby powers. She is magic. She weighs 10 pounds and started giving us a gummy grin a couple weeks ago. She takes naps on daddy’s chest in the evening and snuggles with mommy all night. She is so loved by Trooper and Elle, we have to fight them off! They are constantly smothering her with kisses and I regularly throughout the day have to say “space”. So cute to see them doting over their baby sister.
