A Night Down Town

Aww, the many adventure of Truman & Amy... haha. Well, this is my last night in Utah before I go home for Christmas, and Truman took me out for a night down town! It was so much good fun but I can honestly say I've never been more cold in my life. I didn't know it was possible to be that cold with a big heavy jacket on, gloves (Truman bought me those pink gloves), and Truman let me use his alpaca scarf from Peru. You would have thought that this would all be enough to keep me warm, but somehow I was still indescribably freezing, Truman had to actually carry me back-- haha just kidding.

We took the tram to Salt Lake City so that we could go look at the Salt Lake Temple's lights. It was really cool to see it all lit up-- so pretty! It was especially neat for me because I have never seen Temple Square lit up at Christmas time. Truman is definitely good at showing me around, and getting me to see things I haven't seen before. Just once I start to get used to snow and freezing weather, I'm leaving?? Go figure. haha. I'll miss Utah for its "White Christmas," but I'm excited to go home. Truman's not coming home to California until next Saturday though because of his finals schedule, I'm really going to miss him...

We also went to go see the new Joseph Smith film about the Restoration. I had never seen it before and it was so touching & so good! We both agreed that it makes our lives look so easy.

Then how better else to end the night than Hot Cocoa...Sinclair gas station, here we come! haha. It was Hot & Chocolately and that's all that matters ;).

We had great fun & are enjoying the Christmas Season!!!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas...

This is my finals week, and I have one final left for tomorrow, but Truman wanted to take me out on a suprise date! I had no idea where we were going or what we were doing until we got there. He's seems to be good at suprising me haha. He heard about this house in Pleasant Grove that does a HUGE Christmas light display every year with coordinating music set-up digitally by the owner's computer. It was crazy and so cool! They use over 45,000 lights and 5,500 feet of extension cord! So cool!
While walking back to the car, we found a couple sleds, and couldn't help ourselves... CLASSIC.
Then we went to BORDERS for some hot cocoa, this time with a Rasberry flavoring, so good & so warm! Definitely needed after being outside so long in 22 degree weather! We shot these pictures outside, such cool lights on the trees!

MANICURE NIGHT!

Despite what Joe and Ben will say, no --Truman's not gay haha.
I had the opportunity to give Truman a sweet manicure! My pleasure... haha.
Everyone's cuticles grow out, everyone needs their nails trimmed, and everyone can use a hand massage! I'm not going to lie, I enjoyed doing it haha.
Sorry to disappoint you Ben & Joe, no nail polish...but I'm sure you'll still hold this over Truman's head for a while. haha. Aww, but it was worth it ;)

SNOW ANGEL
From the title, you've probably guessed this is a picture of a snow angel haha.
But this isn't just any snow angel, it's a snow angel of Truman! haha. It snowed so much on Saturday, & Truman made a picture perfect snow angel for me. It was really cute! :)
Even though it's super cold, the snow has its unexpected benefits and fun that I've never gotten to enjoy in California. ...fun fun fun... ;)

MR. COUGAR'S CHRISTMAS

Truman & Me decided to take advantage of BYU's Mr. Cougar's Christmas festivity and bum off the free ice-skating, hot cocoa, and gingerbread making houses! It was such a fun night! The lines were super long but luckily we got there right on time so we beat the crowds.
It snowed a ton on December 1st, so it just makes you want to do winter activites haha. Ice Skating was the perfect fix, the skates were ghetto...but when it's free...you can't complain. It was a jolly good time, especially with the hot cocoa and marshmallows to warm us up. ;).
