Chocolate Chip Banana Waffles

These things will make all your dreams come true haha. Truman is quite the little chef! I introduced him to banana pancakes, but he has introduced me to chocolate chip banana waffles! They were divine! He also made some amazing eggs. The last 2 Sundays, we have adopted breakfast for dinner since we never get to have breakfast with each other. They smell like banana bread when they're cooking, & taste even better! It was so much fun! :)

Our 9 Months!

Well! Truman & I have offically been together 9 months! I'm sure we'll look back in the future and laugh that we were all excited about being together that amount of time, but for now, we're excited!!! It was so adorable because Truman came over in the evening and suprised me with this pretty Beauty & the Beast looking rose! Even though I can't keep the rose forever, I can remember it with this picture!

Valentine's Day
&
the blessed Dental Convention

My dental hygiene school made us go to a dental convention in SLC on Valentine's Day and the day after. Just the way you want to spend Valentine's Day huh? haha.
Well, actually yes, because
Truman came with me!!! 1) It was snowing, and 2) I would somehow find a way to get lost, and 3) We wanted to be able to spend more time with each other!
The dental convention was from 8:30am-4pm, so Truman, the little trooper, drove me all the way to SLC to the Salt Palace, and then he took the tram to the library and did HW. Then we met up at lunch & had a feast of sack lunches, and ate them at the Joseph Smith Memorial building!
I would say the best part of the dental convention would have to be the sweet name badges, and the even better part was all the free stuff!!! haha. Truman & I probably have enough toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss to last the rest of the our lives haha. It's great! You wouldn't believe it, there was probably 60+ booths that were advertising their products, and you could just go around with bags they gave out and make the rounds of free stuff like magnenets, dental supplies, teeth bleach, little flashlights, and more. I'm not going to lie, I collected the free stuff both days haha.
They also gave out the prettiest carnations! I got a red one, and Truman got a pink one and gave it to me. :)
Then when we got back to Provo, we each went and got our presents for each other. I made Truman one of his favorite dinners --turkey bacon skewers, stuffing, and fun stuff like that.
I also made Truman I heart you cupcakes :).
Truman got me the BEST Valentine's Day present! I have not been able to go to Yoga lately just because my schedule has been crazy and it's a big time committment with the driving and time there. So Truman had an awesome gift idea and got me a Pink Yoga mat and a Yoga video! That way I can do Yoga whenever I have the time, as short or as long as a I want, and I don't have to drive there! SO CUTE!
I got Truman a big box of the Nature Valley Peanut Butter bars & I left the other part of his gift in CA, darn it haha.
I have never had a better, more sweet, or more fun Valentine's Day!!!

HAPPY DAY BEFORE VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

I was in a hurry to my car to get to school on February 13th, and I walk into the parking garage, and my car had been attacked!!! Attacked with hearts that its --by my cute fiance!
For Valentine's Day, I had to go to a dental convention in Salt Lake City for my school, and Truman was going to drive me. So he had been plotting to attack my car, but had to do it the night before now. It was so cute, he decorated all the windows, and had the hearts all over my seats, odometer, and dash too.
Some of them said things like, Happy Day Before Valentine's Day! Or, I love you! and Be Mine and cute things like that.
It made my morning! The funny part was, I was in a big hurry, so I was only able to take some off before I had to start driving to school. I got a lot of looks and Awwww's on the way to school haha.
Thank you Truman! I loved it!

Reisy P the Rapster

I know this isn't a picture of Truman & me haha, we will post some pics tomorrow! But I was looking through some pictures that I had taken on my phone at Christmas time, and this was one of my nephew Reis who I caught sneeking into my room. Perfect little gangsta attire for sneaking around too haha. He is so cute, I couldn't help myself!
I miss him so much!....

Some classic pictues from Grandma's photo album

Local talent

The LaRue family

Amy, Truman and Donal Davis. He is chugging along. He was very excited for Amy and I to be getting married.
Grandma was the best. She housed us and fed us. She just couldn't stop talking about how wondeful Amy is. Grandma told us some classic stories of her and grandpa's courtship.
The Dickenson family is a shining example of going strong in the gospel. They were sealed as a family in November and are doing great things in their ward in Nampa Idaho. While visiting, we also learned that Felicia is a very faithful blog viewer, thanks Felicia!!
Nothing like some healthy Subway. Amy and I split a foot long sandwhich. Usually turkey, she picks her toppings and I pic mine. I just can't bring myself to love pickles and olives the way she does.

This is Maddie Waddell. She is the proud owner of one of the largest Joseph Smith Manuals I've ever seen. It's the only way for her to read.
Amy took this picture....
We stopped at several rest stops along the way
.
This is a classic picture of Maddie informing Amy about her sweet radio thats built into a dresser. She claims it's the only one of its kind built...I am inclined to believe her.
The Twin Falls temple is scheduled to open in April. It was announced when I first got into the mission in 2005.
