Elle's Blessing Day
Today Elle Candy Weston was blessed in our El Dorado Hills Ward. Since we did it the Sunday after Thanksgiving some of our extended family were able to be there. My brother and his new wife Allison were visiting from Utah. Shelly & Rachel also came but were unable to be there for the photo. Truman's brother Joe and his wife Tracy and their two kids were visiting from Clovis. Then Jake and Hayley and their daughter were also in attendance. It was so nice to have family come and see our little girl get blessed. Truman gave a beautiful blessing, many sweet memories.
My talented mother made this blessing dress for my younger sister Shelly's blessing 19 years ago and saved it so that one of her children could use it for their daughter. Today Elle had the honor of wearing it and it looked beautiful.

Truman's First Day of Work!
We just moved to El Dorado Hills, California and are loving it! We moved here to be closer to family and also so Truman could start his new accounting job working for his Dad. Truman has worked for Ernst & Young the last 2.5 years in San Jose, CA and left there just in November as a Senior. Truman will now be working for Weston & Tuttle as a tax manager and has been loving every bit of it so far.
These photographs were taken the morning of Truman's first day of work. He looks so handsome! I am so proud of Truman and all his diligent hard work to get to where he is now. Currently we are working on getting his office all situated and decorated. Pictures to come...

Last Sunday with the Deacons
Truman was the Second Counselor in the Young Men's Presidency in our Santa Clara Ward. He loved this gaggle of deacons!
He had to get some fun pictures with them on our last Sunday there. For his lesson, he specially picked out ties from his own collection to give to each of the boys, and taught them how to tie them. They absolutely loved it!
He missed a couple of his deacons at church, so he went to say goodbye to them at their homes. He wrote each of them a personalized letter and told them to keep in touch and call him when they get their mission calls one day. It will be sad not to see these boys grow up.
On our last Sunday in our ward, we were also asked to give talks. Truman was asked to give his talk that he wrote based on his Grandpa Floyd Weston's talk, 17 Points of the True Church. I spoke on missionary work and Truman invited Sri's family to church and to hear us speak.

Elle's First Halloween
Happy Halloween!
For Halloween, I decided that Elle would be Piglet. Oh lovable little Piglet. I took a hot pink hoodie that she had and hot glued black ribbon on it to make the stripes and added a pink onsie and some pink tights. Free costume!
Ernst & Young had a work Halloween party and one of the partners was dressed in a full-on Winnie the Pooh costume! We of course had to get a photo of Piglet with her best friend Pooh.
Is it just me or did Elle look super cranky in these last three photographs?? haha.
We love our little "fuss fuss"
Our ward had their annual Trunk-or-Treat with a potato and chili bar and lots of candy to be passed out to the kids.
Truman & I did our WWII military costumes again
Truman invited his good friend from Sri and his family to the Trunk-or-Treat
One of the gals in our ward did a cute picture booth. Sri's kids enjoyed themselves and were looking cute as Batman and Cinderella.
Truman with two of his current and former deacons and one of my former nursery kids, we love the Dellona family.
We had a great time and Elle was tuckered out asleep on me at the end of it all. I made Truman save me some candy and he indulged me by watching Hocus Pocus with me. Now that's a good Halloween...
