Happy Wedding Day Marshall & Allison!

We were so happy to be able to share in the beautiful wedding of my brother Marshall and his sweet wife Allison. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple on Saturday, July 28th in Utah. Allison was a gorgeous and glowing bride and Marshall was such a handsome groom. She picked lovely wedding colors of navy blue, pink, and cream.

Prego Sisters Unite! Rachel is expecting her second baby, also a baby girl, end of August! These little cousins will get to be good friends!

Truman's 27th Birthday!

Happy Birthday to my sweetheart Truman! 

For Truman's Birthday dessert this year, he asked for a MilkyWay cheesecake! It first stole our hearts when we tried it at the Girl's Camp Dessert Auction and I was luckily able to get the recipe from the young woman who made it. This was my first try at a homemade cheesecake. He requested a mini version of it and it turned out great. It was sooo rich and yummy.

Truman specially requested a new fancy face shaver that he picked out as his gift. His current one was on it's last leg so it was perfect timing. We also got a nice card from his parents and I made him a funny card.

Truman also specially requested to see The Dark Knight Rises for his Birthday. We saw it in IMAX theaters which made it that much more intense, it was a good and long movie!

This is Truman's last Birthday before being a Daddy! He is so excited and ready for this big change.

Prego Update

I am now 32 weeks (8 months) pregnant, only 8 weeks left to go! Our little baby girl is continuing to grow big and get stronger every day. I can now start to feel almost individual body parts on her and if she presses up against me, I can kind of push back and she'll move away. It's the craziest feeling. Every week since we found out her gender, my OB has told me she is measuring big. So it will be interesting to see if she comes early! My ligaments have that aching feeling, my ankles and feet are swollen, and sleeping is getting more difficult. Luckily, I bought a 'Snoogle' pillow to help with sleeping and that has made a big difference.

I have 2 work weeks left, and then I will start my maternity leave August 3rd, which I am looking forward to very much. I do feel tired but mainly just because working full-time is already tiring, so being pregnant, makes it that much more. This has been a great pregnancy though and I just feel so grateful everyday for the opportunity to be pregnant with this sweet little baby girl. It's an amazing feeling and I am trying to savor it. I am remaining active, doing walks and my body pump class with somewhat lighter weights. I find that I'll run into things due to misjudging the size of my belly. haha. You can see this would be increasingly difficult to practice dental hygiene having to work that close to patients. 

Truman has been hard at work at his job, and just started a new rotation that he is enjoying. He still loves to mountain and road bike on weekends as well as riding to/from work a few times a week. Truman's 27th Birthday is coming up next week as well as my 25th the next month. Soon to follow month will be our little baby girl's Birth Day in September! We will both be attending an all day childbirth preparation class this Saturday. This should be interesting...
