We planned a big vacation to Hawaii this year! We were able to stay with Truman's older sister Pat and her husband Mark and their two great kids Ruby (9) and Atticus (8). We stayed from May 27th to June 4th and we had a fabulous time!!! We wouldn't have had near as much fun if it wouldn't have been for these little rascals and Mark being our personal tour/fun guide and letting us share their home for a week and half. Thank you for all your Hawaiian hospitality!!!

Elle LOVED it when Ruby would read her books, which was very frequent!
Towel Snuggles
Look at these two! It just kills me! Elle and Ruby were attached at the hip. Elle continually asks me about "Roo-gee" and "At-kiss" and "Maaark" and "Pat-tee". It was so sad the day after we got home, when she woke up she was yelling their names from her crib :(.

5 hours is a long time to have a 21-month only toddler on a plane! It was a tender mercy from the Lord when for our return flight Elle got her own seat! :) She did a little better on the way back than there and we just tried to keep the activities, stickers, and suckers going! This girl wouldn't sleep a single minute on the plane but she loved batting her eyelashes and peek-a-boo with her fellow passengers!
